Evolution or creation? Which is correct? Can both be correct? Charles Darwin developed the theory of evolution in 1839 and published it in 1859. It basically states that all living creatures on earth are connected. It is also described as the survival of the fittest. The main belief in evolution for this discussion is that man evolved from the ape family. You can see a similarity in bone structure between man and ape, but it really ends there. Intelligence wise there is no comparison. The Bible states in Genesis 1 that God created fish in the waters and birds in the air (vs20) of their own kind;then beasts and cattle (vs24) each of thei own kind, then man in his own image, male and female, he created. Also, we find in 1 Corinthians 15:39, written by the Apostle Paul (some1804 years before Darwin publish) saying this, “All flesh is not the same flesh, there is one flesh of man, another flesh of beasts, another flesh of birds, and another flesh of fish.” So, we have Darwin developing his theory and we have the biblical account of creation, decaring each group of beings multiply their own kind, and another account some 1800 years before Darwin stating that all flesh is difference and limited to its species. It seems to be a large contrast between the two positions. To many, its hard to believe that man evolved from an ape and the apes are still around. Man continue to reproduce humans, apes reproduce apes. There are thousand of varieties of fish and birds and animals, and they all reproduce their own kind. Logic seems to clearly favor the Biblical account over the the evolution account, which is relatively a new concept compared to the Biblical account. To me, creation is the logical and obvious conclusion.
